Koss, SPHR, CCP In addition to her real world experience, Sharon has attained the following certifications:
Sharon also has been on the faculty of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) for 12 years. She teaches several classes nationally and also presents at their national meetings. Recently Sharon developed a two day compensation class series, Base Compensation and Incentive Compensation. SHRM is publishing one book this year - Sharon's book, "Solving the Compensation Puzzle: How to Link Performance with Pay." Sharon was elected president of the Society for Human Resource Management Certification Institute's National Board in 1997. SHRM has a membership of over 235,000 and only three Presidents are elected each year.This board is responsible for development of Certification Examinations. In the last 10 years, Sharon has received the "Distinguished Member" award from the Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA) - once in 1993 and also again in 2003. It is a very rare occurance to receive this award more than once. Recently Sharon developed a two day compensation class series, Base Compensation and Incentive Compensation. Koss, PE, CCP Much of Doug's work has involved implementing the clients' first formal base pay plan and Performance Management/Merit Programs. Doug's experience in long range manufacturing planning and capital budget forecasting while working at Boeing provides him with a broad knowledge of many business and engineering processes. Doug holds a BS degree from Oregon State University in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Seattle University. Smolen, SPHR, CPC Veronica Smolen has over 15 years of Human Resource Management experience. Her career has spanned the health care, manufacturing and construction industries at the executive/managerial level. She brings strong in-house expertise and perspective on compensation plan design, communications and administration as well as performance management, leadership and employee development. Veronica's strengths also include a passion for Executive, Leadership and Personal Coaching. She has been actively coaching both individuals and managers/leaders in organizations for the past five years. She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), graduating from the Academy of Coach Training. She graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Business Administration.
